Hydra-Lock designs and builds precision hydraulic workholding arbors, chucks and fixtures. Hydra-Lock devices contact 360 degrees full length of the locating diameter. This large surface area means less force has to be provided, therefore less distortion, it will withstand higher torque than conventional work holding and typically accuracy at least .002mm TIR.

Our technology leads the industry with more than 85 patents globally. We produce three styles of hydraulic arbors and chucks consisting of solid steel sleeve, split steel sleeve and our Conform-A-Products and all of our designs are application specific. Our steel sleeve designs are built with accuracy to .002mm. The split steel design offers greater flexibility in expansion or contraction with accuracy less than .005mm.

The Conform-A –Chuck and Conform-A-Arbor products utilize our unique Hydra-Fibre sleeve material, for thin walled parts or out of round parts, that averages center without rounding the part while withstanding high torque.

Our most recent advancement in part holding is Hydra-Flex (size limited to under 5 inches Diameter); with our patented high expansion solid sleeve material increases the expansion or contraction of our hydraulic arbors and chucks.
