Hydra-Lock chucks contact your part a full 360 degrees over the full length of the locating diameter. This large surface area means less force is required and less distortion.  It will withstand higher torque than conventional work holding all while maintaining our typical accuracy of 5 microns and repeatability of 1 micron.

• Our steel sleeve designs are built with accuracy to 2 microns. Our most recent advancement in part holding is Hydra-Flex® (size limited to under 5 inches Diameter); with our patented high contraction solid sleeve material that triples the contraction of our standard hydraulic chucks
• The split steel sleeve design offers greater flexibility in contraction with accuracy less than 5 microns.
• The Conform-A-Chuck® product utilize our unique Hydra-Fibre® sleeve material, for thin walled parts or out of round parts, that averages center without rounding the part while withstanding high torque

Chuck Designs with Flexible Applications

The machining chucks designed by Hydra-Lock can be used to hold a single part, a family of parts, or multiple parts on a hydraulic fixture with the highest accuracy in the industry.  They can also grip multiple locating diameters with different pressures simultaneously.
