The Hydra-Lock Quick Change Cartridge system consists of a sleeve and stop ring assembly with accuracy of 5 microns for use over a basic hydraulic arbor or in a chuck or fixture. This allows the customer to purchase one basic tool to hold multiple parts during the machining or manufacturing process and maintain excellent accuracy.

The Hydra-Lock Parallel Sleeve

The Hydra-Lock Parallel sleeve has the same accuracy of 5 microns and is used when the part stops and sleeve is one detail. It is also used over a basic hydraulic arbor, or, in a chuck or fixture to hold multiple parts.

Quick Change Chuck

Our Quick Change Chuck™ is permanently mounted on a machine spindle and the replaceable Hydra-Lock tool has a journal OD that is inserted in the Quick Change Chuck™ ID.  It is then locked into place by turning a hand actuate screw. The replaceable Hydra-Lock tool is now centered and has a TIR of 5 microns or less with no indicating.
